Madrid participates in the 2021 International Real Estate Fair (MIPIM)

On the occasion of the celebration of the 21st edition of the most important international real estate fair in Europe, the Community of Madrid in a joint action with the Madrid City Council, has participated in the MIPIM with a stand of 27 square meters. The MIPIM, which took place in Cannes (France), has brought together investors and promoters from all over the world on 7 and 8 September in the French city, which makes it an appropriate setting for participants to present their urban projects and attract investment.

During the fair, the Vice Mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís has participated in the Invest Madrid conference held at MIPIM, presenting Madrid as the “city of opportunities” and “the best to invest in”. She likewise said: “We come to offer new opportunities. We speak to all investors looking for an avant-garde, dynamic, open city, with a good quality of life and that offers legal security. Madrid is his city “.

Madrid has included among its star offers the Madrid Nuevo Norte project, with which it is intended to attract foreign investment to the capital, making available for this investment more than 800,000 buildable square meters for different uses, encouraging public-private collaboration. The Live Plan was also presented, one of the most prominent built to rent initiatives, which will facilitate access to affordable rentals for the youngest in the coming years.

To publicize its offer, Madrid opts to bet on accessible technology. We are talking about Land Portal 4.0, a platform that has detailed information on the plots of public land available: location, use, status, buildability, etc. It is a consultation program, both in Spanish and English, that it brings together information never compiled on public land management, providing it with greater transparency. The portal includes the 191 plots of the Economic Reactivation Plan promoted by the Madrid Government last June. All of them are on public land and are located in 20 municipalities in the region, and will be used for homes, offices, commercial and hotel use or industrial use, ready to build and with an estimated value of 256 million euros.

It should be noted that among the main actors in the real estate sector who attended the MIPIM was RICS. RICS is the leading international accreditation organization for the real estate sector and Adventum is proud to be accredited as a RICS regulated company.
